DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd was established in October 2001 with offices residing in Johannesburg, South Africa.
DeARX formed very close business relationships with various other IT companies making our resource base very extensive. DeARX will continue to enter into strategic alliances with companies sharing the same vision as us. We will assist all our customers, no matter how limited their experience with the electronic age. Our motto is to provide quality resources and products to the marketplace at very competitive rates, making IT affordable to all the different market sectors, from big enterprises to the very small businesses.
DeARX is structured into business areas that we define as follows:
Application Development: “Translating business requirements into a technology solution that fulfills the business requirements, using Oracle, Microsoft, Java, SAP technologies to mention but a few. Usually this service is rendered on a Time & Material bases, however DeARX is capable of managing complete projects and even entire IT departments.”
Business Intelligence: “Business intelligence is a popularized, umbrella term introduced by Howard Dresner of the Gartner Group in 1989 to describe a set of concepts and methods to improve business decision making by using fact-based support systems. Business intelligence is carried out to gain sustainable competitive advantage, and is a valuable core competence in some instances. Business Intelligence applications include the activities of decision support, query and reporting, online analytical processing (OLAP), statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining.”
Oracle to Java migrations: “DeARX, in partnership with CipherSoft has the exclusive rights to present Exodus in South Africa. Exodus provides the client with the most rapid and cost-effective migration path. Exodus automates the migration of Oracle Forms and PL/SQL to J2EE. In addition, the product automatically converts Oracle Menus, Libraries and Triggers into the Java environment. The converted application is fully maintainable, portable, contains no wrappers and all semantic contents are converted providing flexible deployment and very little impact on business operations.”
Recruitment / Resourcing: “Recruitment refers to the process of finding possible candidates for an IT related work opportunity or function.”
E-Learning: “Self-paced, interactive training programs produced on the Web that contain multimedia elements (i.e. sound, video & animations) and automated test questions that provide instant feedback to the trainee. Includes any learning that utilizes a network (LAN, WAN or Internet) for delivery, interaction, or facilitation. This would include distributed learning, distance learning & assessments.”
